Friends of Solid Foundation Christian Academy (FOSF) is an organization dedicated to supporting Solid Foundation Christian Academy (SFCA) through fundraising, volunteer work, and community engagement. SFCA is committed to providing a robust educational experience, grounded in Christian values, that prepares students for both academic and personal success. Our partnership with SFCA allows us to amplify the resources and opportunities available to students, enhancing their learning environment and overall school experience.
Our mission at FOSF is to support Solid Foundation Christian Academy in its goal to cultivate a nurturing learning atmosphere that fosters academic excellence, spiritual growth, and the holistic development of each student. We strive to connect the community, parents, and local organizations in collaborative efforts to strengthen the educational offerings and extracurricular opportunities at SFCA.

Why FoSF is Important
State Funding and the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program 2023-2024
Many of the students served by Friends of Solid Foundation (FoSF) have an Individual Education Plan (IEP) or a 504 Plan. Some of the students we serve have an undiagnosed learning disability. Some of the students have not been successful in the traditional classroom setting. Covid did not help with any of this….
During the 2021-2022 school year, which is the most recent officially reported data, 5,788 students received a scholarship award to attend a participating private school through the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program.
The range of the annual scholarship amounts for this school year was between $1,256 and $14,734. Of the students participating during the 2021-2022 school year, the average scholarship award amount was $6,590. These annual scholarship award amounts are based on the state funds that would have been provided to the local school system of residence.
FoSF helps supplement the funding students require to get their needs met through quality, individualized education at Solid Foundation Christian Academy.
